    The author is morally and intellectually dishonest about her exploitation of her relationship with Bundy, which leads her to send flowers on his behalf to his girlfriend who is clearly trying to escape him, and keep sending him money and letters in prison so she can squeeze another article out of it. She never examines her motives. This jars with the horrible details of his crimes. The narrator’s slightly coy and girlish tone is also at odds with the seriousness of the subject matter. Uncomfortable listening
