Good Guide for Self-Learners
This is a good guide for self-learners who want to establish a study plan and structure to retain information. The first chapter is about motivation and learning, which may already be familiar to many (e.g., extrinsic and intrinsic motivation). To get the most out of this book, pick a subject to learn and apply the technique SQ3R:
* Survey: Get a general overview of what you're reading. Establish the goals you want to achieve from reading the book.
* Question: Write down questions you have on the subject.
* Read: Read the book. Learn to speed read so you're not sub-vocalizing (saying the words in your head), which unnecessarily slows you down.
* Recite: Recite the main points in your own words.
* Review: Write test questions for yourself. Can you answer the questions? Can you explain the concepts?

This book helped a bit with my foundation
I am grateful to have read this book, but I do find it sad that it did not offer Amazon Whisper-Synch option when you have both the Kindle and Audible book.
Other than that, I did enjoy the read. It sparked more interests, and showed me how little I know and how much more I can still learn and most importantly apply in my daily life going forward ^_^
in the end this book did help to contribute to my foundation of Self-Learning Journey

Good Starter Book
I thought it was a good basic book so I already knew most of what he was covering already. I know you have to cover things like SMART goals but to me this is basic level knowledge and so many books already include this like this. I guess my expectations were set at intermediate or higher knowledge, concepts or insight.
If you are just starting out then this is a pretty good book for you.
