Young Lukas is full of folly and messing around with marijuana. Which is usually no big deal, but Lukas is becoming prone to psychosis and hearing voices triggered by the THC. Hearing voices and going crazy are also realms of the Shaman. Will Lukas navigate three cosmic tasks to outlive his youth and reconcile his duality? Become a modern-day Mage? Or will he fall to the system and it's peril?
Mad scientists are punching holes between universes, a meek boy is playing with telepathy, and Buzz Aldrin is talking psychedelia. Schizophrenia is at odds with the ego. The ego that strips our planet of wilderness, resources and joy as horrid, tiny little mind mites feast on mankind's increasing anxiety and worry.
The trilogy consists of metaphor and, at times, a deliberate lack of metaphor to demonstrate a firm nod of respect to the trans-real schizophrenic experience and the supernatural relationship with the fantastic. I hope the schizophrenic reader recognizes an empowering, unique story and the sane reader becomes more aware of the fantastic and troubling possibilities.
