The Richest Season is the wistful, romantic story of Joanna Harrison; a wife married 25 years to a man, Paul, she hardly sees, a mother to children long since grown and gone, and a woman in search of herself.

Loneliness and suburban weary ennui leads Joanna to make a dramatic change; fleeing her husband and the dull familiarity of New Jersey for the unknown shores a small, idyllic island off South Carolina. The relationships formed there, and Paul’s own change of fortune, will change both of their lives forever.

Clearly narrated with warm honesty by Cassandra Campbell.
