What begins as a carefree summer afternoon turns into a nightmare no one could have imagined.
When a piece of mysterious space debris crashes into a quiet small-town pond, three local teenagers are swimming nearby. At first, the incident seems like nothing more than a strange accident. But within days, two of the teens begin exhibiting disturbing changes—violent outbursts, insatiable hunger, and increasingly savage behavior.
Unbeknownst to the town, an alien parasite hidden within the fallen debris has infected its hosts, transforming them into ruthless cannibals driven by a horrifying instinct to spread the contamination. As fear and chaos grip the community, the body count rises and no one knows who will be next.
With the situation spiraling out of control, NASA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are called in to investigate the mysterious outbreak. Racing against time, scientists and government officials must uncover the truth behind the extraterrestrial organism before it consumes the entire town—and perhaps much more.
Blending science fiction, horror, and suspense, The Pond is a chilling tale of alien invasion, survival, and the terrifying consequences of something from beyond our world finding a home on Earth.
