From the author of Longshot: The Adventures of Deaf, Fundamentalist Kid and His Journey to the NBA, comes the second written release by Lance Allred, The Pesaro Poems.
The first deaf player in NBA history, Lance Allred covers and uses a wide array of poetic forms in telling a narrative of his time in Italy, as he travels through and eventually rises out of suicidal depression. Clashing with taboo, while skirting the fields of quantum physics, spirituality and religion, Allred still carries his penchant for wry, dry sarcasm that won him critical praise in his first book.
