After narrowly escaping a fight against a giant orc shaman, Silas must continue collecting the last two shard pieces of the broken dungeon core to prevent the goddess core from dying.
But things are different now—he has no party. As he mourns the separation of his other half, Jezz, he swears to not only find her but to also complete his mission as the sole hero of Senterra, and give his people the freedom they deserve.
This will be no easy task, especially since Silas doesn't have a guide to help him learn the ins and outs of Thalian without Jezz. However, he is thrown a bone when an unfamiliar fae joins his team, a fae of one too many secrets.
Unsure of Rufian's objective in joining his crusade, Silas must keep an eye on him while trudging along the path to salvation. Saving Thalian is at the top of his to-do list, no matter the obstacles he'll face among the fae council and their sacred Grimoire.
From one pot of fire to the next, Silas and Rufian must collect ingredients to find the next location of the core's crystal shard, even if it means making a deal with a potential devil.
