The popular and cool but still reserved Hassan Gardner feels all this. When he was born, his late father told him he would change the world. On his 15th birthday, Hassan realizes he must be different after discovering he has the ability to read minds. He indulges his ability, helping him become the perfect son, perfect brother, perfect friend, and perfect boyfriend and rocketing his popularity to even newer heights. Everyone he encounters loves him impeccably, everyone except Him, the unexplainable being or creature who seems to follow the dark and haunted him since birth.
More powerful and dangerous than anything Hassan can even imagine, Hassan can barely tell his dreams from reality and his fear of the being makes him deplore sleeping and the dark.
Who or what is this being? Will Hassan and his abilities be enough to stand up to and overpower Him, or will Hassan become victim to the being's extraordinary power...or simply the lack of sleep?
