Best story I've heard in a long time

I truly loved it! I'm a truck driver and I listen to a lot of audio books. This is one of the most enjoyable stories I've heard in a long time. It kept me thoroughly engaged and was disappointed when the book was finished. I'm hoping there's more coming.

Fun continuation of the series

Cast of colorful personalities continue their at tricking humanity into saving themselves. Fun and interesting schemes as usual. Continued fun references to the classics.

Great Conclusion!

Great finish to the series. This one nicely ties up the main story with a teaser for more. Highly recommend!

Amazing

A must listen for any who love science fiction. With politics, warfare, and aliens on conquest

good but could have been better

The story good but loses steam towards the end. Maybe too predictable or too cliché. Not sure exactly the problem. Overall a good ending to the story.

Not the deepest but very fun. A very enjoyable liste.

Enjoyed even more than preceding book

No spoilers! Fun story with likeable, idealistic characters. Exciting plot and action without gore.

If you can ignore the profanity…

The book’s content and storyline would have been greatly improved if the author had followed the Customer Review Guidelines, and NOT included “obscenities or profanity”. An investment of a little more effort to creatively express extreme emotion (rather than resorting to fowl language), would have made the story far more enjoyable. The book was well read (although individuals were harder to identify in Book 2 as the number of characters increased). If you can ignore the frequent profanity, the relationships and interplay of strengths and weaknesses of the major characters are interesting and generally entertaining. There are many, not-so-subtle, lighthearted references to historic sci-fi books, movies, and TV shows for comparison, contrast, critique, naming, and puns. The “science” borrows from some recent experimental weapon systems and yet undeveloped propulsion systems and extrapolates their usage in the future. The engineering success and adoption rate being accelerated by knowledge provided by an alien “sentient AI” (called HAL) helping the humans.

Excellent Story. Kept Me Riveted

The conclusion of a two book set. An excellent story about what could happen if we received a warning that hostile aliens were about to attack our world from other friendly aliens.

More fun!

Enjoyed the first book the most but this was a a good second- looking forward to a third. Some new technology too easily inserted, but that's the way Sci-fi rolls.
