The author and narrator of this book is an eight-year-old girl who had a vivid dream about a velociraptor. She told her mother about the dream, and her mother guided the little one into bringing her dream to life by turning the story into a book.
The story is about a girl who goes to a park in the mountains and finds a velociraptor hatching from its egg. The girl takes the dinosaur home and enjoys having a pet dinosaur for a while. When she notices that the dinosaur is growing too big in size, she decides to return it to the mountains where she found it.
This book is written and narrated by a kid for other kids.
