Max, a sixteen-year-old rogue, enters a mysterious dungeon, determined to prove his courage. But after his first victory against a skeletal guardian, he drinks from a shimmering chalice he believes to be blessed. In reality, the chalice is cursed, binding him to the dungeon and filling him with dark energy. The curse’s whispers haunt him, compelling him to descend through the dungeon’s ten deadly levels, where he must face creatures of nightmare, deadly traps, and echoes of lost adventurers who fell to the dungeon’s lure.
Max fights to maintain his humanity as he faces monsters, twisted puzzles, and the overwhelming presence of the Dungeon Lord, whose dark magic grows stronger with every level. Along the way, Max encounters cursed relics that blur the line between ally and adversary, each tool and weapon heightening the curse’s hold on him. As he struggles to break free, Max learns what it means to be a hero — and the true cost of facing his fears.
But the curse’s grip is relentless, testing his spirit and strength at every turn. Will Max break the spell that binds him, or will he become yet another soul claimed by the dungeon’s darkness?
