    Description

Whether you are skeptical of God's existence or seeking scientific support for your faith, The Creator and the Cosmos will enable you to see how the heavens do declare the glory of God (Ps. 19:1).

Hugh Ross (PhD, University of Toronto) is founder and president of Reasons to Believe (reasons.org). He is the author of many books, including Improbable Planet, Navigating Genesis, and Why the Universe Is the Way It Is. No narrative, but a compilation of hard data

There is no narrative, but only a very very long list of astronomical data presented as proof of... that if the data was different, things wouldn't have worked the way they do. (this is the survivor bias). Only 4 ideas from the bible are explored : there is god outside of space and time who created those on purpose, he is one and 3 (no proof) the universe is expanding and decaying. It is said that God can be very close to us through another dimension, without we perceiving it, but again with not a hint of a proof. You will find some debate here and there with atheists,, but the opposite point of view is not well explored.

Unconvincing for me. A waste of time.

    Great book BUT READER BEWARE

This book will go over your head for 4-5 hours straight before you actually start to put the things he is saying together.

I would recommend I think it great but only for the patient at heart & Mind

    I'm a skeptic.

I have completed this book twice once on Audible once with a physical copy of the book so I can take notes. I took the time to go from passage to Passage and find counter-arguments to all of his points. I wasted a lot of time. I'm currently reading the Bible. imagine where the world would be if we had all heard this in junior high school.

Heavy on Science...But then Didn't God Create it!

In the debate of faith verses science this book looks at God as the creator of the way the natural world works. Isn't science just man trying to figure out how it all works?

I feel there is a place for science in faith and this book tries to find that balance. This is for the thinking Christian. The one who can look at the beauty of the nature and the cosmos and realize there is and has been worlds that the eyes of man will never see. And wonder WHY? I would say and I think Hugh Ross would also say, Because our God loves beauty and created beauty for His pleasure.

We have yet to understand all the natural world has to offer on this planet or how it all works together for life to exists. But yet, it does. While trying to understand and learn we can and should thank the God of creation and also learn of Him.
