Never before has a book felt more meant to be narrated.
It really feels like Rob J. Hayes and Matt Dinniman were meant to be. Whether or not this keeps up, this series is clearly in contention for becoming a cult classic, by now it's already one of mine even if the following books were to be farting noises for 30hrs. Actually, even more so if this were to be the case.. You heard it first.
Also, the reason I got to be so impressed with the production and the narration is that the material is just so good at its core :
- Vibrant Characters
- Impressive Pacing (it just flows)
- Just light enough to hit extremely hard
- Epic and yet so close to the main duo
- Pure pay off galore
My only issue with writing this review is that either you're reading this after finishing the previous book and... I mean... Did you need me to tell you this? Why are you here?
Or you're reading this not having listened/read the previous ones and uh... That's a very strange behavior and I'm not here to judge but you'll probably (definitely (totally (really(I mean it)))) need to start from... The start.
All in all, thank you Matt, thank you Rob, thank you everyone else involved in getting us this pillar of Fantasy. I love you, all of you.
