    As usual history told by Dalrymple is more captivating than a novel. Incredibly actual and modern

    But shallow in the reading of it. Dalrymple is such a pleasure to hear but Sagar seems oblivious to the need for rhythm, inflection and pauses. I soldier on for the story.
