Description
At age 20, Molly Shakespeare knows a lot. She knows Descartes and Kant. She knows academia and Oxford. She knows that the people who love you leave you. She knows how to be alone.
But when Molly leaves England's gray skies behind to start a new life at the University of Alabama, she finds that she has a lot to learn - she didn't know a summer could be so hot, she didn't know students could be so intimidating, and she certainly didn't know just how much the folks of Alabama love their football.
When a chance encounter with notorious star quarterback Romeo Prince leaves her unable to think of anything but his chocolate-brown eyes, dirty-blond hair, and perfect physique, Molly soon realizes that her quiet, solitary life is about to dramatically change forever....

Narrator a miss on this one
The narrator's British accent sounded fine to these American ears, but oh my the southern accents were unbelievably awful. I don't understand how a book can be released with such mediocre narration. The story was ok, but overly formula sex scenes (with a touch of Shades of Gray); silly and didn't fit. The one at the very end of the book ... the one where the reader would think the story has already ended ... was over the top not needed.
Actually I tried to return this book and wasn't able to. Sorry to have a negative review as there is talent in both the writer and narrator, but it just didn't come together for me in this story.

Just Like Romeo and Juliet ... Well Sorta
I love this story and Tillie Cole is quickly climbing the list as one of my favorite authors. Rome and Molly are such interesting and compelling characters and they are surrounded by loyal and interesting friends. This has the makings of a must listen to series with a very strong beginning. Molly and Rome have such different lives yet somehow they seem to be a perfect fit. This is an enticing story of young love overcoming many obstacles and I was cheering for them all the way.
Anna does a really good job as narrator for Molly and a marginal job as narrator for the southern females but absolutely awful as narrator for the southern males, especially Rome. Fortunately, this was such a good story I could overlook this part of the narration,
Definitely worth the credit. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series.

I love the eBook. . .the audiobook not so much!
I have read almost all of Tillie Cole's books and I LOVE them. Tillie is a phenomenal writer and can really hit you in the feels, this BOOK is no exception. However, this audiobook is a major flop for me. The narrator sounds like she is 12 years old. I'm not a big fan of British accidents, they just bug me for some reason, but I can usually tolerate them for audio books. However, Anna's is really high pitched and she sounds like a 12 year-old girl. Her imitation of a male voice is quite hilarious, and not in a good way. The southern accents are offensively bad. As a southerner myself I cringed every time she tried to imitate the Alabama accent.
During the first intimate scene between Rome and Molly at the creek the narrator WHISPERS the word for the male anatomy!!! If you can't say the word penis then you should NOT be narrating a romance novel. I will stick with reading this first book on my Kindle Paperwhite. 4 hours to go on this audiobook and I can't wait for it to be over! I really hope the other books in the series, that I've already spent credits on, have better narration.

Loved this!
New narrator for me. Not surprised why this is so popular, Tillie Cole writes compelling stories and characters. Loved this and loved hating H's scum parents, like seriously. The h...I lost respect for her at the end for her choice. Ends on cliffhanger.

Great story. Nightmare narration.
I really enjoyed the story. The narration was terrible. The southern accents were painful to listen to and Rome's voice was probably worse than that. I wish they would re-record this book with dual narration.

The Southern accent is awful, the story is good.
The Southern accent the narrator used was not only awful, but offensive and nerve wrecking. Thankfully this was a reread type if listen and I already knew how good the story was. otherwise I would have DNFed this book.

Terrible Narrator for Mail Voice
I like the storyline and the college atmosphere, however, it was difficult to listen to the narrator speaking for the male character. The female was fine.
It's difficult to listen to child abuse and I'm always happy when bad parents/guardians get their just reward. I enjoy a story with an HEA and like to see two strong characters come together and fight for the right to stay together. Nothing comes easy if it's worth it. As human beings we seem to appreciate things when we have to work harder for them.
The book overall what a good read.......not so much for a listen, I think it would be better to just read the book to hear your own voice for the male hero.

I loved the narrator while doing female voices.
The storyline was well written with well developed characters. I like more pull in the beginning though.

Good story...male voice lacking
Good overall story, but narrators male voice is awful. The big alpha football player sounds like a whiny woman

Rubbish. A waste of time.
Gave it the benefit of the doubt but had to discontinue half way through.
Badly written, characters unrealistic, cheap storyline - mainly focused on (bad) sex and bitchy drama.
