In this book, I explore the origins of colorism and share with you my personal journey navigating through skin tone bias. Some of the information in this book will surprise you and I believe the history of skin tone bias is fascinating. This issue is not just in the Black community. It can be found in almost every culture that has different skin tones. Understanding what colorism is can be helpful no matter what end of the color spectrum you are on. I am hoping this book can aid you in this process of becoming more aware of this issue.
