In this installment of the Jackson Stafford series, we find ourselves in the office of the new reporter, Jacob Jacobson. He and his fellow reporter Ronald Hollingsworth have been given an opportunity of a lifetime when Senator Bailey’s assistant calls them. Don and Nancy, the NSA professional dissecting the Pandora Project case, will connect the dots and draw the conclusions as to who and what is going on at the Project.

Within the mind of Jackson Stafford, Ben continues to lie to his host. Working his diabolical plan to assume control, both of them are caught up in an unexpected appearance of Carl. The customers in the convenience store are running for their lives as the EMTs, police, and civilians fight to gain control. Mr Willard Thompson, the senior guard who works in the security office of the Pandora Project, is waiting for his hush money from Dr. Brody. A private message was mailed from London from Dr. Jennings’ attache and handed off to a private currier named Claude Carson. Tempted to open the message and read its contents, the private currier stops at his favorite cafe for a latte while he decides what to do.

At the police station, while sedated, Jackson Stafford finds himself in his inner-room in the usual psychological push-pull war with Ben. But, Ben will be visited by a representative of the Everlasting One who issues him a warning. Dr. Giavanna Angelopoulos, the doctor the Pandora Project’s investors hired to assess Jackson’s stability at the debriefing center, finds herself face to face with Jackson decades later.
