I liked the first one, but this one i enjoyed even more. I liked Grace point of view and her way of thinking, having to deal with her fellow noblemen and the social consequences of what happened in the last chapters of the last book. This one is less about the magic and more about the political repercussions.. Her relationship with the other characters brings deptht to her character and others, even if i thought the main love interest could have been a bit more fleshed out compared to her relationship with her father or both royals, which was really really interesting. I'm looking forward to see how the story continues in the third.

The reader had a really nice and expressive voice, a pleasure to follow the story with her reading.
