He had a frayed yellow nylon cord rope wrapped tightly around his neck, and his fur was filled with mud. Most likely, he had fled from an abusive environment. He found refuge at my home.
He stepped into my life and opened my heart, becoming my companion and best friend. This was a true godsend.
