Soul Cry of an Invisible Freedom Fighter is an interactive autobiographical narrative, encapsulated by poetic prose, a style of writing ORIT has innovated to fit her authentic writing voice and her healer propensity. Soul Cry covers the childhood experiences that stirred the revolutionary spirit in ORIT, and it also tells how that early stirring, led to a life path of service, all the while mysteriously anointing her invisible to the people she has struggled beside in various work.
From childhood to #Ferguson to #CLE and beyond, ORIT also details the first 10 months of the ongoing movement for Black Lives, from her unique perspective and experience, how she saw things evolve from the beginning, and how she came to be heavily involved herself. ORIT seeks to raise the consciousness of all who hear this offering, and stir hearts to decidedly practice integrity in activism.
