In a French village, the body of a man shot through the head is disinterred by the roots of a fallen tree. A week later a famous art critic is murdered in a nearby house. titre agréable bien que les ressorts de l'intrigue soient un peu trop prévisibles. la narration par P. Forbes est impeccable

Margaret is the “ugly American” in print.
I keep reading this series because of the interesting plot lines. With each book I come to like Margaret less and less. So selfish and entitled to be mean and rude, disrespectful and argumentative. She has hints of a drinking problem so hopefully she’ll soften during her alcohol-free pregnancy.

The future is now
Unfortunately all too timely in 2020 and 2021 so reader needs to be forewarned. Great series.
