The international array of characters gives Lee an opportunity to display facility with accents; only the American film distributor seems overdone.     I discovered the author as I searched for books performed by Caroline Lee, by far my favorite performer. This is a beautifully told story with characters one gets attached to. Exciting, engaging, intelligent, emotionally stirring, romantic but not mushy. Give it a try, you won’t regret it. By the way, the photo on the book’s cover does not do justice to the main character.
