All Adrian wanted was a new pair of eyes. Not cybernetic arms, an eldritch-infected brain, and a vengeful mad scientist hot on his trail....
Adrian knows he should be thankful. He's got his new eyes and some decent runner training. He escaped from the insane doctor who forcibly swapped his arms for cyber-eldritch limbs, and he did it with the help of the doctor's own daughter. Now he just wants to lie low and live out the rest of his eldritch-human life in peace.
But in Adrian's world, peace is not an option.
That doctor is still out there, using his network of mercs to commit unspeakable atrocities. Adrian's eldritch components are fighting to take him over, eager to consume his entire being. And did his new roommate and fellow refugee, the doctor's daughter, really have to be so damn cute?
If there is peace out there somehow, it seems like Adrian will have to claw his way to it.
