Paul wrote a letter to people he'd never met. This is that letter, explained one chapter at a time, in words a five-year-old can follow.
Romans Like I'm Five walks through all sixteen chapters of the book of Romans the way you'd explain it to a kid on your lap. No skipping the hard parts. God's anger, the tug-of-war in Romans 7, the potter and the clay in Romans 9, the olive tree, the living sacrifice on a Tuesday-they're all here, in plain words and pictures a child already understands: a tab at the candy store, a spill that got on everyone, a knight's armor that makes the arrows bounce off.
Each chapter opens with a one-sentence summary for the kid, then a short read-aloud that takes about three minutes. Big words like righteousness, wrath, grace, and glory are kept-and explained the moment they show up.
For parents, grandparents, and Sunday-school teachers who want their kids to meet the real Romans early, and for grown-ups who could use it explained simply too.
