The Western world's growth started its first major developmental boom in the early 1800s. We all know the typical story:

- 1845: Texas joins the Union
- 1860: The Civil War
- 1865: The abolishment of slavery in the US
Seems like the average 2006 class history lesson right? Of course, it does! While these things did happen, there are things that the government keeps out of textbooks, due to fear of civil unrest. Fear of the truth. A truth that is hard to digest. A truth brought to light in Salem, we all know about Salem... Witches, magic, and evil. But there are more things that go bump in the night. Cryptids! You know like Bigfoot... Chupacabra... Wendigo. Hell, even old Nessie.
Within this uncharted territory, a man named Jebediah becomes embroiled in an unforeseen odyssey when he accepts a bounty to capture a woman known as "Bruja Betty." Unbeknownst to him, this seemingly ordinary task thrusts him into a perilous encounter with the unimaginable, forcing Jebediah to navigate a realm where truth and terror intermingle, leaving him to grapple with the haunting question of whether he can emerge from this nightmarish ordeal unscathed.
