Description
They might be richer than gods, but they’re morally bankrupt. As far as the boys who run America’s most exclusive international academy are concerned, I’m an unwelcome interloper, an inconvenience, and they’re determined to make my life a living hell.
When Wren Jacobi sets eyes on Wolf Hall Academy’s newest inductee, all he sees is an easy mark. A reserved little girl with a target painted on her back. He knows nothing of my troubled past, though. Nothing of my mother’s suspicious death or the horrific treatment I’ve had to endure at the hands of my psychotic father. And he has no idea of the lengths that I, unassuming little Elodie Stillwater, will go to in order to break the savage beast who dreams of breaking me first.
There’s a wolf stalking the forests that surround my new school. Little does he know, there are far scarier predators lurking out there in the dark.
From a USA Today best-selling author comes a new, dark, and delicious world, where even the most corrupt of hearts has a chance at redemption. This book contains content that may be considered a trigger for some listeners and as such is recommended for adults.

Ridiculous
I get that this is a book and it's supposed to be hot and steamy but c'moon these are teenagers. Don't get me wrong I usually really enjoy those steamy sex scenes and I do not want to listen a romance without that. However, this time I was hoping to get some juicy and a bit darker teenage drama with an appropriate ✨steam✨. It is ridiculous that 17 year olds are "slamming girls against the wall" and giving them 3 orgasm in a row when they are just barely started having sex. It made me roll my eyes. Just too many scenes where the hero did not act like 17 year old would.
I hated the female narrator's male voice. It absolutely ruined the hero and his whole image for me😭 Male narrator was nice but nothing special. Different narrators could have saved the whole book.
The plot overall was nice and interesting. The best part of this book, however, is the cover. That man is HOT.

Meh 🫤
I don’t know about this one. I’m really just disappointed. Super immature overall vibe mixed with overly mature content for the situation. Hard to make that make sense. But it is what it is. Extremely abrupt ending. I don’t care if there’s other stories (of separate couples) to the series - it was cut off too quickly. I have no serious desire to jump into the next installment - if I’m in love with a series I can’t wait to see what happens next. Good narration.

Different take on the Bad Boyz
I really enjoyed the narration, was excellent especially cj mission!
The story was not original but rather added some interesting plot points unusual in this genre. Book is not a cliffhanger rather a standalone but I hope it becomes a series.

Great potential, ruined by female narrator.
The story line of the book was entertaining and even engaging for a YA story. It held my attention, although I could put it down and start up when it was convenient. The female narration could almost ruin it for you. Her voice is rough for a high school girl and her male impersonation is worse. I almost returned just because of the poor narration. The male performance was strong, and good. Callie Hart is a good, strong writer which is why I didn't completely zero out the star ratings.

Dark and Entertaining
I loved how this story kept you on the edge of your seat wanting more. The dark lure of Wren, which who doesn't love a bad boy. Along with Elodie's no BS attitude through out the book was refreshing. I loved the narration even though I wished they would have allowed the male narrator to talk for Wren more vs the female narrator. I was nice to hear his voice pop in along with the female narrators voice. The narration throughout really helped bring the book alive. Would love to hear or read more about Riot House.

Riot House
Riot house was a short in the Bully Me anthology. I decided to wait for the whole book so I could read it all at once. I'm not a huge fan of cliff hangers.
This book is told from duel point of view which I really like. I like knowing what both characters are thinking and feeling.
The minute I started reading Riot House I was reeled in from the very beginning. I didn't want to put it down. This book features Wren and Elodie. Elodie is sent to Wolf Hall in America away from her father. He is in the military and is very strict. Wren has been at Wolf Hall all his life and decided to make Elodie's life miserable.
Elodie has dealt with a lot growing up, and she's not going to let Wren and his friends take her down. Her father taught her out to defend herself and she uses it to her advantage.
I love how their secrets came out and they were both able to develop through the book. We learn a lot about the backgrounds and pasts of both of these characters. I was not ready for this book to end and I'm very excited for Pax and Dash's story!
I loved the narration of this audio book!

Not my fav but not bad
The narrators did a great job. This was a stand alone book with a HEA. If you are looking for bully dark romance this is not the case. If you are wanting steamy scenes again not the case. In the beginning you think you might get both but no. Wren is definitely and alpha male in the making. Elody, like melody but without the m, is supposed to be seen as strong alpha female and in some ways she is. This book is more of a YA book with some rated R scenes and lots of cussing. There are some twists and turns to keep it interesting. Not my top pick but not bad either.

Keine Minute langweilig
Tolle Charaktere, Überraschungen und trotz der Länge nicht eine Minute langweilig. Ich fühlte mich sehr gut unterhalten!
