THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD RIEDEN REECE HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS. THEN THE MOON BREAKS.

Rieden Reece is not exactly having a great year.

His dad is absent. His mom is stressed. School bullies make every day worse. And Ri is pretty sure being thirteen should not feel this complicated.

Then one night, his bedroom shakes, the moon cracks apart, and a bizarre alien creature climbs out of the sky.

So... that's new.

The alien's name is Rozul, and he claims he was sent by a future version of Ri to help save the universe. Unfortunately, Ri has a few questions. Why are adults suddenly walking around with black holes where their heads should be? Why are terrifying enemies hunting him? Why are his own memories missing? And why does saving everything seem to depend on a kid who can barely survive junior high?

Now Ri and Rozul must race through a wildly strange adventure filled with impossible creatures, cosmic danger, lost memories, flying ants, alien weirdness, and one very broken moon.

If Ri fails, the universe could collapse.

If he succeeds, he might finally discover the truth about himself.
