    Description

He walked into school on his first day and owned it. I guess that's what happens when you're a prick, rich, and you're best friends with the ruling school's king. Also didn't hurt that he's drop-dead gorgeous.

That's all fine. I mean, I have nothing to do with them. I'm a loner, invisible, and that's how I wanted it to be. I was even proud of it, until I wasn't. Until I saw a girl kneel before him. Until I couldn't look away. Until he caught me watching.

His name is Blaise Devroe. My name is Aspen Monson. He only knew how to get, command, and demand attention. I knew how to do everything but that.

    And this is our story.

    Blaise and his girl

I love that there is an audible version of this book. Love the story. However the female narration is extremely bad. She can’t distinguish between characters...any of them. Absolutely bad. The male narrator was such a relief when he spoke. If not for him, I would have sent this back. Please Tijan, don’t ever use this female narrator again. This story is really good. Fell in love with Blaise and his girl. Fortunately I read the story and listened at same time (turning volume down really low when female narrator spoke and back up when the guy started speaking.

    Loved parts of this book

In the beginning of the novel, the female character is a little strange and somethings are hard to understand, but it gets really good after the two characters hook up. The last chapter and the first epilogue are confusing. I still very much liked the book.

    Cute YA Romance

Someone wrote they hated Grace Grants narration but disregard that noise, Grace Grant is awesome!!! She has such a unique talented voice! Lee samuels was pretty good too! I am familiar with both their work. The story itself was cute. I love a good underdog story about a nerdy girl and when they main male character likes the girl unabashedly.

    Not her best work!

This book seemed like a parody for YA romance novels through most of the first half. It felt like an older person writing about teens and didn't read as real. The plot connections in the book were severely lacking. I haven't read a Tijan book in a while, because I was so bored with the lack of diversity in the characters, so I'm not sure if this is her new writing style or if this is a one off. Could also be because I haven't read the book that seemed to be connected to this one but this book is listed as a standalone. Read it if you get it for free but don't waste your money or a credit on it.

Also the female narrator was not a good fit for this character. It took awhile to get use to her.

    My Thoughts on Rich Prick

Tijan has done it again. Given me a book I got so absorbed in. A book where the characters hooked me as hard as the storyline and plot. One in which I needed to keep reading but was also scared to because the more I read the sooner it would be over.

Blaise was a jerk even as he was being protective. My heart broke for him as more of his story was brought to light. I loved him right along with leading lady Aspen.

I have a soft spot for smart girls. And girls who show strength and vulnerability. So of course I loved Aspen.

Overall this was just such a well written and once the audio came out and I was able to experience it all together I fell in love all over again. Both narrators brought me into the story on a whole different level. Grace Grant is one I haven't heard often but enjoyed her as Aspen. Lee Samuels I will need to hear more from because I was very intrigued by his voice.

Get ready for. Fun, wild ride!

I absolutely loved Rich Prick!! So many twist, turns, things going sideways, surprising revelations, feels, and heat. Especially love the heat! Loved the narrators and the storyline. Tijan is slowly coming to be one of my fave authors. This is the second book I read from Tijan. ❤️❤️ Highly recommend Rich Prick. Can’t wait for another great read from Tijan. Till next time 😂

    I loved this book!!

I loved this!! Especially Aspen!! She was so real and relatable. Blaise was such a complex character with a background that caused him PTSD. He is also Cross (from the Crew series) half brother). But Aspen was the only thing that grounded him. Aspen was a neglected child who was Nate Monson’s (from Fallen Crest series) little sister. They had another brother too. Aspen went through some really bad trauma and she had no support through it and so became a loner, who always tried to be invisible. But Blaise brought her out from that...gently. He was a prick to everyone but Aspen! I loved, loved this book!! I really wish this was the beginning of a new series!! It would have made a great series!! But it’s a standalone, and a really great one!!!

The narrators were awesome at portraying the characters feelings and emotions. And that was extremely important in this character driven story!!!
