Rewriting Fathers is an easy to remember way to “know how” to be a father. A simple, Christ-like approach to discovering “what a father is and what a father does”.
Using the word “fathers” as an acronym we lay out what a father is and what a father does. The F.A.T. teaches what a father is and the H.E.R.S. teaches what a father does.
Second, we include a legacy journal for fathers. The journal provides writing prompts to get dads started. Some require deeper thought, some are simply asking for a short story from your past, and some are just a quick note for the child. Our encouragement is for dads to get back to writing a little, with the intention of passing this journal to their son or daughter at some point later in life.
