Description
It all started with a dare.
A single dare on Maisey Parker's 21st birthday and her entire life changed.
One second she was getting drunk with her friends, and the next she was climbing a cliff, cutting her hand, and accidentally offering a blood sacrifice that opened a thousand year old prison. A prison that contained the only living Titan. One too powerful to kill. One that wants nothing to do with being attached to Maisey.
Cronus has an old score to settle with the Greek Pantheon. Lucky she has some sick days saved up at work, because Maisey is dragged along whether she likes it or not. A decision Cronus no doubt regretted right around the time she makes a colossal mistake, unleashing an untold evil on the world.
Now they're in a race against the clock to resurrect the other Titans, the only beings who can contain the evil. They're the world's last hope. And Maisey's.

Nope too much ###
Jaymin Eve & Leia Stone are one of my favorites duo of co-writting authors. But sadly this book was not one of my favorites. The story by itself would have been awesome if not for the constant Hashtagging every few sentences. That sadly killed it for me. I don't know if listening to it via Audible made it worse but i will try to read the other books instead of listening to it maybe it will be less annoying. Vanessa Moyen did an excellent job narrating this book like usual i love her voice. So sad that that the constant # ruined it.

Extreamly Imature
This book is what's wrong with our generation I am the age of the main character, who is obsessed with posting herself Instagram (this is my biggest pet peeve) the book encourages young women to continue being so vane it disgusts me. She speaks very immaturely saying "hashtags" every paragraph. I could bearly get through the first chapter but dragged on hoping it would get better since I love fictions revolving around the gods but after chapter 5 I just couldn't do it. The book just pissed me off the whole time. Don't waste your time

#TooManyHashtags
Overall the story was good but the overuse of hastags got old really quick. No one talks like that and I had a hard time connecting with the lead because of that. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. It would be a great read if 75% of the hashtags were removed

A very fun read
Finished it in a day and it made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The hashtag usage gets a little excessive at times, but it does add a certain amount of character and charm to the book that I enjoyed most of the time. The mythology in it was great, and the humor kept me thoroughly entertained. All in all definitely worth a read and I’ll be looking forward to the sequel.

So bad
Don’t waste your time or money unless you’re OK with the F word in every other sentence and hash tag in every statement she makes it’s #Annoying .. it’s a shame because it could be a really fun story

Interesting, but a bit...
I found the story interesting, and I love Vanessa Moyen, but the story felt too rushed and there wasn't a lot of character development at the beginning. I also found all of the hashtag comments to be a little too much, but I'm not an Instagram follower so that could be why. I still really like Jaymin Eve's work and I'm looking forward to book 2, but I'll probably read it before I think about buying the audio.

Ugh!!!!!
Disappointed!!!! I love books by Jaymin Eve and love Vanessa Moyers narrative skills but thus hook is complete garbage!!! I swear this book is only as long as it is because they used hash tag this, hash tag that and other hash tag nonsense! A complete letdown!!!!

Quick fun read
I liked the story. The hashtags are a little annoying but she’s an instagram girl. So it’s suppose to be her thing. The story is fun and interesting. I’m already purchasing the second.

#TooManyHashtags
I love this author duo + Vanessa Moyen narration combo, with the funny characters and stories told with excellent voice acting. It wasn’t any different with this story. This story is definitely reflective of a subset of today’s younger population and the selfie thing is pretty par for the course. I have no beef or judgement on that, especially because not all people who post selfies are vain and if they are that’s their business. The authors chose a very real character type and applied it well. But also, Maisy’s arc has the character maturing. Some of the relationship development felt like it jumped stages which didn’t always feel genuine but also wasn’t in your face either. I agree with another reviewer who said it felt a little bit rushed. But otherwise it’s a fun story full of twisted Greek mythology, Gods, and other creatures. That said, the hashtag crap is every few paragraphs and got Real Old, Real Fast. If it had been lightly sprinkled throughout the story I would have found it charming but the gag went overboard and dragged the whole ship on top of it. It took me out of the story nearly every time it happened because it was so overkill. While I truly adore her readings, I find there’s a mispronounced word with nearly every Vanessa Moyen narration I’ve heard. I don’t want to harsh on that too much because I’ve had my fair share of mispronunciations and it’s typically from learning a word by reading which is not something to slam, just more of a note that it happens and draws me out of the story. I feel that learning word pronunciations is important for a voice actor and I do wish that unfamiliar words were investigated a bit more.
