Kamala has been through a lot these past few years. Serving in the army as a combat medic, getting married, and then having a child within months of her husband dying in war—she struggles for a few years to find her fit in life after the trauma she has endured.

Rian, on the other hand, through his alluring smile and devilish charm, proves to be more than the meets the eye. When Rian is put in the hot seat, Kam must learn the strength behind remaining still and waiting for things to play out for themselves—even when she wants to take all the responsibility on her own shoulders. Eventually, she finds the motivation to write her first book…on the story she was required to remain silent on. Rian hid the truth from so many people and tried to drag Kam down with him. She refuses to be just a casualty in the war but also refuses to retaliate. So, she writes. It is a healthy coping mechanism. She publishes the story only to show what love can be, and to show the strength of being able to walk a better path with faith that she will no longer be a victim to sexual harassment in the workplace.
