Rain has returned to the Wasteland. That alone should have been impossible. In a world stripped bare by fire, fallout, and the long collapse of the old electronic age, rain was supposed to be a rumor, a mercy, a brief mistake before the drought came back to finish the job.
But this rain is wrong.

As they travel toward old Denver, the Wasteland grows meaner, stranger, and more unforgiving. Kael's Nomechs hunt technology like heresy. Relics of the old world still wait beneath the ash, brittle and dangerous. And somewhere in the rain, something is rewriting the rules of survival.
