Veronique Dunn has lived on the streets of Londo City since she was eight years old - an orphan in constant danger of being arrested. Three days before her 18th birthday, she sees an audition announcement for a new Citizen Symphony. This is her big chance. She might be a rag-tag street rat, but she can play the piano like an angel. And in three days, she will be able to step out of the shadows.
