Little Dissapointed

Again Willa sent us reeling into a myriad of possible senarios, but thankfully less than before. They become tedious instead of entertaining. Also the repetitive narrative needs better editing. Willa told us numerous times about the dangerous animals in the wild. Okokok! I would like to have heard Willa and Striker confess to each other about their extraordinary talents and see where the story line would take us from there! Still a good read/listen.

Leighan Dobbs

I have thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Dobbs books on Mystic Notch mysteries. I am sorry the series is finished. I hope that she will write a #5.

Could have been much shorter!

What did you like best about Probable Paws? What did you like least?

I am a fan of almost any cozy mystery but this one missed the mark. Willa Chance as portrayed in this one could be described as the definition of a confused, rambling ditzy female. Hardly the character one expects in a seasoned, 50 something former crime reporter.

What was most disappointing about Leighann Dobbs’s story?

The author seemed to be trying to find a way to drag out the story. Willa repeating conversations over and over while totally ignoring all the obvious clues. Just did not fit with the persona developed in the earlier books.

Any additional comments?

Normally I do not write reviews but this book made me want to push fast forward just to get it over with! The book could have been at least 8 chapters shorter.

Good listen

This a good book although I felt like the cats should have had more action mainly because of the title. Their should have been something where the killer got punished, I just really didn’t like the ending But other than that it was a good read.

Great Series, best narrator ever

The series is a set of great cozy mysteries with a touch of sci-first thrown in. The narrator really brings the stories to life with both the distinct voices and the the cadence varying to fit the current situation in the story. Kudos to both author and narrator -- they make a great team.

A Recipe for Murder

Willa is attending a funeral when the ghost of the deceased asks for her help. Turns out her boyfriend also sees ghosts but on a different plane. Now they are both on the hunt without knowing each other’s secrets. Great series.

Excellent Read

This was an excellently written story that moved along nicely and made it possible to relax and enjoy it. thank you for sharing your talent.

Volume fluctuation

I do enjoy the Mystic Notch series. Elisabeth Rodgers narration is good but her voice fluctuates from quiet when she is reading the story to very loud when she is reading as a character so much that I was constantly turning the volume up and down throughout the book.
I do love the characters and the story line.

Another great tale by Leighan Dobbs.

Great narration and a story that keeps you guessing. Wonderfully imagined cats...if only they could talk or we could understand their ways of communication.

Loved it!!

Loved all aspects of this book...from start to finish...narration was great. Can not wait to get the next book.
