In the aftermath of a terrorist attack, American intelligence agents who had let chatter about the attack slip past them, try to implicate the victims as somehow being in league with the perpetrators. As the attack on their resort paradise unfolds, Burke must give his fellow guests the hard truth: “No one is coming to help us. Either we act now or they will slaughter us one man and one woman at a time”.

Prescription for Terror is contemporary fiction with a medical edge. But more than anything it is a tribute to self-reliance.
