Starting from an early age, many of us are conditioned to believe that the ultimate sports achievements are the pinnacle of success in life. But what happens when that path comes to a dead-end?

Benjamin "Ben" Gilmore grew up immersed in all things sports. He followed his desire to play collegiate football to Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansa. He's since worked in many capacities from lawn care, roofing and auto mechanics, to banking, insurance, and finance. Ben serves as an Elder at First Christian Church of Troy, Kansa and volunteers in various capacities. He and his wife, Brittani, live in Doniphan County, Kansa with their three children.
