Peeing on Hot Coals: Drowning the Devil is a coming of age story that finds laughter in cockeyed yet utterly unbelievable details. You will keep listening to find out what more could happen to this sweet child of the Great Depression living in America's dust bowl, enduring severe burns down there, and horrific dust storms as she struggles to find her place in a tattered world inhabited by a terrifying God and a Devil directly from Hell. And with it all, we laugh at the vivid descriptions of her preacher dad, a straight from the Bible Belt Mama and eight siblings, all of whom, she thinks are more talented and beautiful than she will ever be. From humble beginnings and with little formal education, Patsy Lou proves that a sense of humor, fearlessness, and an attitude of It Can Be Done make dreams into reality. Peeing on Hot Coals leaves us with much to ponder about life's marathon journey.
