In his 12th live stand-up album, Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics, classic King of Comedy George Carlin delivers the kind of material he became widely - and deservedly – well known for over the course of his decades-long comedy career. Carlin is all sharp edges and wields himself like a knife: slicing through the niceties of polite social commentary and cutting straight to the heart of the matter.

As with any larger-than-life, violently bombastic personality, Carlin has his fanatics and his detractors. Until you listen, there’s no knowing which you’ll be. But at the very least you can count on him to be thoughtful - sometimes shockingly so - about the violent, vulgar, knock-your-socks-off comedy he slings with supreme ease.
