Duane Braddock, the Pecos Kid, is in hiding, accused of a murder he didn’t commit. After a month in hiding, the Apache-trained gunslinger returns to the town of Escondido, where he is hired to maintain the peace. He soon finds himself face to face with a killer gunning for Braddock.
Berman capably takes on Levinson’s cast of wily heroes and bandits with a range of voices and the right amount of urgency for this hardboiled western.

Everyone tells Duane Braddock to stay out of Escondido. But a month alone in the desert, even with his keen Apache-trained survival skills, is a month too long. He’s just partial to trouble - and when he’s hired to bring order to the outlaw town, there’s plenty for the taking.
