Description

Can a serious minded, older school teacher and a spoiled, bratty omega find their way to love?

Ryan is the last unmated omega from the original group that settled at the lodge. He's the runt of the pack. The beloved kid brother that everyone adores. Now he's all grown up, and has seen the joy that his friends all share with their mates. Ryan claims that he doesn't want a mate. He'd rather be alone than to be bossed around by yet another person who doesn't really see past his bratty exterior to the real man that lies beneath.

Ivan is a Russian alpha bear. He settled into the Northern Lodge Pack as a teacher in their one-room schoolhouse. His father, Doc Ollie is the pack doctor. Ivan is happy to have the chance to be near his dad again, and to have a job that he enjoys. His bear is intrigued by the spoiled little omega with the big mouth. Ivan isn't so sure.

This is the seventh book of the Northern Lodge Pack series. Every book is about 30k and guaranteed to have an HEA. You can read them on their own, but it's advised to read them in order for maximum appreciation. 18+ readers only please! And yes, this book contains M/PREG, knotting, adults adulting in sexy, naughty ways and way more than the occasional use of potty mouth language.

great story

I loved it. Laughed and cried at different parts. When Ryan first saw doc after the mating was so touching and the description of the sounds coming from next to Luke's was hilarious. now I need to catch up on the books I missed.

A Charming Story

This is the seventh book in The Northern Lodge Pack Series. This is for the audiobook version. A charming book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were developed and thought out. Ivan is an Alpha and Ryan is an Omega and they are the MC’s of this book and mates. There was humor, friends and family, shifters, a teacher, mates, a brat, an unexpected birth and so much more in this book.

Although the narrators voice didn’t work for me. Unfortunately, I am very picky about voices. His voice did work for the story however. He did a good job narrating. He wasn’t monotone, and each character had their own voice. These are the 2 most important things for a narrator to do. So overall it was well done. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Incredible narration

Ryan and Ivan’s story was my least favorite of the series so far. I felt like the story line was forced to follow what the author felt like it should have been instead of allowed to follow its own natural progression. Over all I still enjoyed it, but there were a few areas I enjoyed less that others, especially following Oskars book, which was so wonderful.

Ryan is known around the lodge as the bratty little brother of Luke and after having been rescued at a young age, he’s been a bit spoiled. Ivan scents him as his fated mate right away and instantly calls him out on his behavior. But will Ryan accept the dominant alpha or will his bratty omega tendencies interfere with love and fate?

I struggled a little bit with the level of brattiness that everyone claimed Ryan had, it just didn’t coincide with what I had been shown in previous books or this one. He had his sassy moments but overall I don’t feel like I was really given a taste of his bratty side. Up until this point I had a positive opinion of Ryan and had only see all of the pack members to be supportive to everyone, so the constant harping that he got from everyone in the pack felt out of place and unbelievable. There also seemed to be a bit of a daddy/boy dynamic that the tried to go for between Ivan and Ryan that I just wasn’t feeling. In the end their connection didn’t really develop for me and compared to the rest of the books, this one fell short.

Agan! The narration was nothing less than phenomenal in this book!

Short and sweet

John Solo has quickly become one of my favorite audiobook narrators and he did an outstanding job with Omega Grown by Susi Hawke! He brought these characters to life for me...and Ivan's voice was fantastic! Looking forward to more!

My favorite couple

I think this is my favorite couple of the series. Ryan is tired of being treated like the bratty little omega, by the pack but especially his brother. No one lets him grow up, preferring to assume he’s never going to be a mature adult. So he acts like everyone expects. Until Ivan. Oh, sweet bear Ivan. He’s Doc’s son and the new school teacher. I love their chemistry and how Ivan really sees his feisty mate for who he is inside. And he adores Ryan’s sassy nature. This series has been a great, fun ride. I look forward to seeing more from this author. John Solo, as always does a great job narrating, and is enjoyable to listen to.

Sassy Brat!!

The sassy brat of the pack finally gets his mate! Ivan, an alpha bear, can't believe that the brat of the pack, Ryan, is his fated mate. Luckily Ivan can see through Ryan's bratty exterior to the real man beneath. I love their back and forth banter and really like seeing Ryan mature throughout the story. I'm sorry to see this series end but am looking forward to starting the new series! Again, the narrator did a great job with this story. I really like his voice and attitude for Ryan. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

great listen!

I have been looking forward to hearing Ryan's story well what feels like forever. it did not disappoint. I loved getting to see him grow in this book Ryan really was a true brat let's face we all can be at times and sometimes it fun. Ryan just needed the pack to see him as a man and not a boy. Great end to the series.
I always find myself smiling and laughing while listening to this series.John quickly moved up my list of most favorite narrators that is for sure.

Love at last

I loved the conclusion to this series with Ryan finally getting his mate. As is frequently portrayed in stories, Ryan seems like the carefree, spoiled omega but he really goes deeper than that. It takes his mate Ivan to help bring the true Ryan to the surface. I loved the interplay between the mates and Ryan standing up to his brother in order to be who he needs to be.

As in one of my prior reviews, I think John does a better job with the bears' voices and it's true in this story as well. Unlike some of the other wolve's voices, I think John did a great job with Ryan.

Don't forget to read the Northern Pines Den series if you want to see some of your favorite characters make appearances.

good conclusion to series

Ryan, the youngest of the original Omegas, finally gets his story. Ivan the school teacher is the first person who sees him as an adult, calls him on his BS and realizes he's more than what people expect, instead of treating him like the bratty younger brother like the rest of the pack. The birthing scene was hilarious, gotta love those clueless Alphas.

Loved seeing all the original pack members get their HEA, and that the pack is thriving with new members. Everything wrapped up nicely while also setting up for new stories with the bear den

Very Interesting

I love this masterfully spun tale. Finally it's Ryan's turn to find his fated mate. Ivan has arrived to not only join his father but also teach the younger generations. Solo's narration brings this amazing story to life. Although robotic at times, it was great to be able to listen to this wonderful story.
