An extinction-level event. A planet killer with no warning and no time to prepare. Earth would become cold and lifeless, a rogue planet in the vacuum of interstellar space. Would hastily constructed igloos and tunnels keep the flame of life alight? One person believed so, and the fragment of humanity that had survived put their trust in him. Thus, upon assuming absolute power, he became responsible for all life, all society, and all hope.
Ollie had to build a refugee world with what could be salvaged from the 21st century. But still this would not be enough. Unless humanity evolved, it would either wither, or tear itself apart, on the ‘Dark Earth’. Humanity would need a new dream, and a new destiny, which could only be found amongst the stars.
