The descriptions are rich, so if you have a visual imagination this book is like watching a crazy movie montage. The scary parts are quite scary too, and... it's definitely not a book for children.
Story-wise, I found the ending a little predictable - a bit too evangelical. But the character developments throughout the story are brilliant.
