Part of a new trilogy found in the MacKenzie Women series, Dr. Mia MacKenzie, animal behaviorist, has joined her cousin at Hope Acres to rehabilitate formerly abused and exploited animals who were used for illegal dog fighting. Her work trains Wounded Warriors, veterans with PTSD and who live on the fringe of society, to spend hours teaching the dogs to trust again. Mia is an independent thinking woman who doesn’t mind working with traumatized pit bulls or dancing naked under the light of a full moon. Mia is the youngest of the three sisters. She may be tiny but she is not immune to a tall, unique biker who has decided she is his fated mate. They marry in a whirlwind and then secrets about him begin to be whispered in the corners. Is her man who she thinks he is? Does it matter? Mia knows that she can depend on the MacKenzie women and dogs, will she trust the love in her heart?
