Book 9 of the America Falls series is an action-packed novella that tells the story of a mysterious traveler with a hook hand who travels the post-apocalyptic eastern states of America spreading a message of hope about 'The Cities' and the budding rebirth of the United States.
It isn't always smooth traveling at the end of the world though, and when he stumbles across a gang of cannibals out for the blood of the innocent, he must decide whether to interrupt his mission and risk death at the hands of psychopaths to help someone in need.
His latest mission is interrupted when he stumbles upon a gang of cannibals, the most reviled group in the new world order... At first, he is content to observe the killers, but before long, circumstances dictate that the Messenger will have to decide whether to risk his own life and intervene to protect those in need.
The Messenger is a standalone short story set 12 years after the events of America Falls 1-6 and can be enjoyed by new listeners as well as those familiar with the series.
