Christianity could be defined as a “cold case”: it makes a claim about an event from the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence. In Cold-Case Christianity, J. Warner Wallace uses his nationally recognized skills as a homicide detective to look at the evidence and eyewitnesses behind Christian beliefs. Including gripping stories from his career and the visual techniques he developed in the courtroom, Wallace uses illustration to examine the powerful evidence that validates the claims of Christianity.

I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist argues that Christianity requires the least faith of all worldviews because it is the most reasonable. The authors lay out the evidence for truth, God, and the Bible in logical order and in a readable, non-technical, engaging style. A valuable aid to those interested in examining the reasonableness of the Christian faith, Geisler and Turek provide a firm challenge to the prior beliefs of doubters and skeptics.

An inspiring new perspective on the science versus religion debate. Can science explain everything? Many people think so. Science, and the technologies it has spawned, has delivered so much to the world: Clean water; more food; better healthcare; longer life. And we live in a time of rapid scientific progress that holds enormous promise for many of the problems we face as humankind. So much so, in fact, that many see no need or use for religion and belief systems that offer us answers to the mysteries of our universe. Science has explained it, they assume. Religion is redundant.

If we are to believe many modern commentators, science has squeezed God into a corner, killed and then buried him with its all-embracing explanations. Atheism, we are told, is the only intellectually tenable position, and any attempt to reintroduce God is likely to impede the progress of science. In this audiobook, John Lennox invites us to consider such claims very carefully. Is it really true, he asks, that everything in science points towards atheism? Has science buried God? God's Undertaker is an invaluable contribution to the debate about science's relationship to religion.

Tackling the likes of Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Christopher Hitchens, and Daniel Dennett head on, John Lennox highlights the fallacies in the their approach, arguing that their irrational and unscientific methodology leaves them guilty of the same obstinate foolishness of which they accuse dogmatic religious folks.

In Jesus Among Secular Gods, Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale challenge the popular "isms" of the day, skillfully pointing out the fallacies in their claims and presenting compelling evidence for revealed absolute truth as found in Jesus.

Description
Did Jesus Really Exist?
The search for the historical Jesus continues to be headline news. Any speculative theory seems to get instant attention as the debate rages about his real identity and the claims made in his name.
Did Jesus really exist? Is there real historical evidence that demonstrates that he lived and actually said and did the things the Gospels record? Is there any validity to the speculative claims that the Jesus story was a myth borrowed from a variety of pagan cultures of the ancient world?
In this follow-up to the book God's Not Dead (which inspired the movie), Man, Myth, Messiah looks at the evidence for the historical Jesus and exposes the notions of skeptics that Jesus was a contrived figure of ancient mythology. It also looks at the reliability of the Gospel records as well as the evidence for the resurrection that validates his identity as the promised Messiah. Man, Myth, Messiah will be released concurrent to the God's Not Dead movie sequel, which will cover the same theme.

Very good book
Where does Man, Myth, Messiah rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks about the same. I can definitely add this in with other books that I will read more than once.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Man, Myth, Messiah?
The part where he talks about the miracles that Jesus performed. This is one of the most controversial topics about Jesus Christ, and most people choose to believe or disbelieve based on the case made for his miracles. Brooks presented a solid argument for Jesus that makes sense.

A Good Resource
As expected, this book expanded upon the information in the first one. It focused primarily on Jesus and the evidence of his existence. It puts forward a few logical arguments but is nowhere near as comprehensive as the Evidence that Demands a Verdict or Cold Case Christianity. The narrator was good but the material was dry so there was very little he could do to liven it up. Dry or not, it still made for good listening and presented things in a clear and concise way.

I gained a renewed confidence in both my faith and ability to tell the purpose of my faith after listening to this. Now I want to read it visually again and bring it to more for their digestion. If you are a believer with doubts or just feelings uncertain of your place this book will help you refocus on Christ. Well done and thank you!
