In this post-Civil War historical Christian romance, widow Lenora has run out of money, so she turns to her father for help. He struggles to make ends meet, but he can't turn his back on his daughter. After Jesse Grant loses his wife and two children in a fire, he has tried to make his way through life for the past couple of years. But it's hard to pastor such a large church without the support of a wife.
