There was no doubt that the Lord was speaking to me, I was just in denial and fully trusted my God-fearing husband, who woke me up every morning to start the day in prayer. Was he cheating on me? Maybe it was not denial because I actually thought the dreams were warnings of what the enemy was planning for me or us. So, I dug deeper into the Word of God, and prayed longer and more fervently. The harder I prayed, the clearer the messages from God became. “Lord, I need proof,” I prayed.
Over the last several years, I had learned that my dreams were actually messages from the Lord—to pray for this person, for that neighbor, instruction of what the Lord wanted me to do, and warning of what was going to come.
Does God still speak in this day and age? Yes, he does, and you will be amazed how clearly He spoke to me. What He told me though, was the last thing I wanted to hear. What still amazes me is that He did not get impatient with me when I did not understand his signals. He spoke one way, then another and another. Yes, God still speaks to us today.
