À propos de ce contenu audio
In the near-future world of KINGDOM COME, superheroes are ubiquitous, but heroism is rare. After decades as Earth's champions, the members of the Justice League have all retreated out of the public eye, replaced with a new generation of anti-heroic crime-fighters whose brand of justice leaves humanity terrified, rather than inspired. With the planet's future in jeopardy, Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman must come out of retirement to make one last stand for truth and justice...
Adapted from the work of writer Mark Waid and artist Alex Ross, this audio production brings one of the bestselling graphic novels into an original and exciting new format.

This is DC at its most thoughtful: a classic that interrogates power, responsibility, and, most importantly, what justice actually means when ideals clash with fear, anger, and control. The story feels timeless in its questions, even when the answers are deeply uncomfortable.
Obviously, Kingdom Come is best experienced in its original comic form, but this audiobook is a genuinely great way to start as well, as an accessible, engaging adaptation that preserves the weight and moral complexity of the original. A strong reminder of why this story still matters.
