Karson is restless. It has been some time since he has been called upon to solve a crime. As he suffocates in the boredom of day-to-day living, a letter delivered to his door brings news of new case. A young man has been arrested, accused of a murder for which his wife, Abigail, believes he is innocent. She pleads with Karson to come and help Jonathon, her husband, clear himself of these charges.
