A new terror has appeared off the coast of Sydney, Australia — massive, violent, and without warning. Fishing boats are being ripped apart. Crews are vanishing beneath churning black water. At first, authorities blame sharks. Then whales. Then tragic accidents at sea. But the wreckage tells a different story. Hulls are shredded from below. Survivors speak of spiked backs and glowing eyes moving beneath their vessels.
Blake, LG, David, and Riese — the newly formed Kaiju Task Force — are deployed to track the creature, uncover where it came from, and determine how to stop it before Sydney Harbor becomes a feeding ground. What begins as a reconnaissance mission quickly turns into something darker as they will face their biggest blow that will change the team forever.
